Worldwide Photography Gala Awards, Barcelona

Thrilled to be announced as the winner in the Single Image Category, Women Seen by Women, and an honourable mention in the Single Portrait Category

Please join Glen Eira Council Gallery Director, Diane Soumilas, artist Yvette Coppersmith, Dee Goldberg and myself for a conversation about my series “Stories from the Interior”, and what home represents during periods of isolation.

Very happy that We Are Here, a work consisting of 14 individual portraits of the direct descendants of Holocaust survivors, Adolek and Marysia Kohn, will be included in the Photo Is:rael photography festival.

14 portraits from my series, We Are Here, will be projected onto the façade of The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House, Canberra, as part of the Enlighten Festival, which features architectural projecttions on Canberra’s most iconic buildings.

Ella Rose and Oliver has been chosen as a finalist in the 2017 awards and is currently being exhibited at The Gold Coast Gallery.

My work, We are Here, is included in The Gift: Art, Artefacts and Arrivals, an exhibition that examines the experience of immigration through the lens of contemporary artworks. The Gift tells stories of the lives and families of Holocaust survivors and celebrates the hope for a new life that brings new immigrants to Australia.
